antiflogistik
Antiflogistici su sredstva koja smanjuju upalnu reakciju. Lokalno djeluju adstringensi u obliku hladnih obloga (Burowljevi oblozi). Rabe se steroidni (kortikosteroidi) i nesteroidni antiflogistici (acetilsalicilna kiselina, indometacin, ibuprofen, piroksikam, fenilbutazom). Primjenjuju se napose kod reumatskih bolesti, lumbaga, ishijalgija, upala tetiva i mišića, djelujući samo simptomatski, ne zahvaćajući uzrok bolesti.
